  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme leaves

  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 2 slices thick-cut bacon, diced

  • 1 medium-sized onion, finely diced

  • 1 tablespoon salted butter (optional but recommended)

  • ¾ cup low-sodium chicken broth

  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream

Directions

  1. Let the pork chops come to room temperature.

  2. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil.
